The man, identified as Sura Naveen, age 27 from Thangalapalli village, attempted suicide on 28.01.2026 evening by jumping into the Maneru stream near the Thangalapalli bridge.&nbsp; District Guard constables Gangaraju and Anil, who were on duty and passing by, immediately responded, jumped into the stream, and safely brought the man out. Upon receiving the information, Additional SP Chandrayya and DSP Nagendrachari immediately reached the spot, spoke to the man, provided counselling, and informed his family members. District SP Mahesh B.
