Tributes to leaders who sacrificed their lives for Telangana-Minister KTR
Minister KTR said that the state government has the culture to recognize the greatness of Telangana fighters and to be proud of their legacy.
Immediately after the creation of Telangana Swarashtra without anyone asking he reminded that new districts, universities and institutions will be named after Telangana freedom fighters to make the future generations aware of their sacrifices.

Later, Minister KTR addressed the large number of people present in the meeting organized there and said that Acharya Konda Laxman Bapuji fought many struggles including the freedom movement. Bapuji’s struggles are unforgettable.
KTR reminded that Bapuji was at the forefront of the Telangana movement not before independence. He said that Bapuji not only fought in the movement but also supported the fighters. He said that the government had erected a 20 feet statue of Acharya Konda Lakshman Bapuji where the then government had removed his house and thrown it out in the water view. He said that the idols are being set up to inform the future generations about the greatness of Telangana freedom fighters. He made it clear that new districts, universities and institutions in Telangana will be named after Telangana freedom fighters. He said that the Telangana government has a culture of respecting the elderly. He said that a new pond tank bund in Sircilla, statues of great people should be installed at the new junctions with the state government and municipal expenses.
KTR said that he is serving as an MLA and minister because of your blessings. He said that he is solving the permanent problems to settle your debt. The development in Rajannasircilla district is not enough. There is still much to be done. It has been mentioned that more development works will be carried out step by step.
KTR said that mega textile park will be constructed in 1250 acres in Warangal. It is said that 20-30 thousand people will get employment through this. KCR was moved by the suicide of weavers in Sircilla before the formation of Telangana state and 50 lakhs of donations have been collected and financial assistance has been provided. Apart from giving assurance and confidence to the weavers, he said that the CM wanted the then governments to also respond. He reminded that the governments of the time were not responsive.
In Swarashtra, Rs. 70 crore budget is raised to Rs.1200 crores. He said that they are setting up Apprel Park and Weaver Park in order to improve the welfare of the weavers. He said that Netanna Bhima (Weavers Insurance) scheme is being implemented.
He made it clear that CM KCR is continuing his rule regardless of caste and religion. He said that KCR is working for the development of all sections.
State Planning Commission Vice President Vinod Kumar, Telangana Mara Maggalu, Textile Development Corporation President Guduri Praveen were present in the program.
