RSD_Two year jail sentence for the accused in a cell phone theft case

RSD- Mustabad news: A woman named Badhavat Yamuna, a resident of Yellareddypet mandal, was receiving treatment at a private hospital in Mustabad for an illness. On the night of September 11th, 2025, at around 1 AM, an individual broke into the hospital and stole the woman’s cell phone. Based on the victim’s complaint, Mustabad SI Ganesh registered a case, apprehended the accused, Meesa Vishnu (24 years old) of Mustabad, and remanded him to judicial custody. Subsequently, a charge sheet was filed in court. Public Prosecutor Chelumala Sandeep presented arguments on behalf of the prosecution, and Court Constable Devender presented the witnesses. After examining the case details, the Siricilla First Class Magistrate Praveen on 06.02.2026 sentenced the accused to two years imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs. 2,000, as stated by Mustabad SI Ganesh.
