ACB took into custody SI for accepting 15k bribe
RSD- Mustabad news: On 23.03.2026, the Veurlugonda Venkateshwarlu, Occ: Sub-Inspector of Police (Former SHO Mustabad PS, Rajanna Sircilla District) has been taken into custody by ACB Telangana ACB officials in a RCO (Corruption) case registered on 28.02.2026, in which the he had demanded and accepted the bribe amount of Rs. 15,000/-through UPI payment from the Complainant through Satyanarayana, PC 2963 for showing an official favor i.e., to release the sand loaded lorry of the Complainant. In case of demand of bribe by any public servant, public are requested to contact Anticorruption Bureau Telangana “Toll Free Number 1064” for taking action as per law.
