Accused arrested in cyber crimes targeting online centers
RSD-Vemulawada news: Four accused who had previously assisted Murali have been arrested and sent to remand. Out of the 38 petitions registered with NCRP against Dasari Murali across the country, approximately 45,00,000/- lakhs have been defrauded. A person named Dasari Murali from Bhiwandi, Maharashtra, who was running a fast food center in Bhiwandi and was living with the money he earned, got used to a luxurious life and wanted to earn money in an easy way. He formed a gang with his friends from Bhiwandi, Vilesh Patel, Chirag Ramesh Pethad, Jintendra Somabhai and Nilesh Jai Singh and targeted online centers. First, he called the online center people and introduced himself as a high-ranking person and said that he has a lot of online transactions every day. I will send cash to them. I will make an online transfer and plan to transfer it to the account of Vilesh Patel, Chirag Ramesh Pethad, Jintendra Somabhai and Nilesh Jai Singh. The five of them will share the money that has entered their account and commit fraud. As part of that, an accused named Dasari Murali targeted an online center in Agraharam and a fast food center in Sircilla under Vemulawada town limits in Rajannasircilla district and cheated them. The owners of the case filed a complaint at the Vemulawada town police station. The Vemulawada town police registered a case and formed a special team to investigate. Based on technical information, four people, Vilesh Patel, Chirag Ramesh Pethad, Jintendra Somabhai, and Nilesh Jai Singh, were arrested and remanded. A special team was formed under the leadership of Vemulawada Town Inspector Veera Prasad, SI Ramesh, Cyber Team RSI Junaid, and Constables Imran and Shami, who were on the run, were arrested at the courthouse based on technical information, the SP said. Vemulawada Town SI Ramesh, Cyber Team RSI Junaid, and Constables Imran and Shami participated in this meeting.
