RSD- Vemulawada news: As part of the first phase of road widening works, the meat market premises of the local municipality were demolished with the help of JCB. While the commercial complex of the Rajarajeshwara Swamy temple along the main road was demolished, the authorities are ready to demolish the buildings collected on both sides of the road within four days. Security was arranged with 200 policemen under the leadership of Additional SP Chandrayya to prevent any untoward incident. The Tahsildar issued orders imposing Section 144 from the front of the Rajanna temple to the Moolavagu bridge. The works were supervised by Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha and Vemulawada RDO Radhabai. Vemulawada MLA and government whip Adi Srinivas said that the previous Chief Minister KCR did not care about the development of the Vemulawada Rajanna temple and the widening of the roads. He criticized that they had announced the release of Rs. 100 crore for the development of the temple and then ignored it and cheated God. He clarified that the road widening work, which had been awaited for many years, has now begun and that the town will be developed in line with the increasing population. He explained that those who are losing their homes due to the road widening have been compensated as per the Land Acquisition Act of 2013. It is hoped that this project will lead Vemulawada on a path of further development and provide better facilities to devotees and locals.
