Assembly witnesses verbal barbs of ruling party and opposition

RSD-Hyderabad news: The assembly session that began at 10 am on 19.12.2024 witnessed heated arguments between the ruling and opposition parties over the Musi water issue. As soon as the assembly session began on 19.12.2024, during the question and answer session, members raised several questions about Musi water in Nalgonda district. In this context, BRS MLA Harish Rao reacted to Minister Komatireddy’s answers. This led to an argument between the ruling and opposition parties. Harish Rao and Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy criticized each other. The minister questioned what sin the people of Nalgonda district had committed during the previous government. He said that Mallanna Sagar was full of water. He said that Nalgonda was neglected during the BRS regime that is why people have shown their wisdom with their votes. Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy said that Harish Rao has no right to question him. He reminded the opposition leader that he has not come to the house for a year. The minister said that he has not come even once since he was the irrigation minister. BRS has no leader in the house, no deputy leader. He said that he is just a legislator. In the meantime, the Speaker intervened. Will we break the rules we have made? The Speaker expressed some anger. He instructed not to bring placards into the house.
