Cremation with 101 rupees,Sircilla Municipality
RSD-Sircilla news: Funeral expenses, which have become a burden for the poor in the town, will be reduced. 7,500 rupees to be paid by way of expenses in Vaikunthadhamas along with Municipal Vaikuntha Vehicle. Several decisions were approved in the municipal general meeting held on 31.08.2024. Among them, the ruling body passed a unanimous resolution to pay only Rs. 101 for cremation henceforth. The burden of the poor in Sircilla town has been greatly reduced. A general meeting of 2024 August month’s Municipal Corporation was held on 2024 under the chairmanship of Municipal Corporation President Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani. On this occasion, Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani, President of the Municipal Association said that the agenda containing 19 items designed keeping in mind the development of people’s welfare was introduced in this general meeting and all the items were discussed with the members of the Governing Body and were approved in this general meeting.
In this regard, it has been decided to allocate special funds from the municipality to organize Vinayaka Nimajjanam, Bathukamma festival, especially keeping in mind the upcoming Vinayaka Chavithi and Bathukamma festival, without causing any trouble to the devotees and the public. Similarly, in Sircilla, which is a labor area, the cost of cremation is about 7,500 rupees in Vaikunthadhamas, it has become a problem for people and people are facing difficulties in cremation. It has been decided to provide cremation services in Vaikunthadhamas for 101 rupees by the Municipal Corporation keeping in mind the people of different communities. She said that as part of the cremation programs at Sircilla Vaikunthadhams from 01.09.2024 onwards, services such as Vaikunt Chariot services, firewood, water facility, firewood stacking will be provided by the Municipal Corporation at Vaikunthadham for 101 rupees. The Municipal Corporation will see to it that there is no need to pay even a single rupee for the staff of the Vaikuntha Dham, the Vaikuntha Ratha, or any other work beyond Rs. 101. She asked the Municipal Corporation to inform about any deficiencies in the services provided in Vaikunthadhama and said that the municipal staff will also monitor the situation in Vaikuntadhama. On this occasion, she said, she was very proud to have been born in this Sircilla town and to have had the good fortune to take such a great decision.
