Every woman should undergo medical examinations says Collector
RSD-Chandurthi news:Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha has ordered that every woman in the district should undergo medical examinations under the Swast Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan.As part of the Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan that will continue from the 17th September 2025 to the 02.10.2025, a medical camp was organized for women at Mudapalli Palle Dawakhana, Chandurthi Mandal on 25.09.2025, and the Collector made a surprise inspection. He inquired while the doctors and staff were conducting various examinations for women.Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha said that special medical experts conduct all health examinations in hospitals every day. He suggested that special examinations and advice be provided on anemia, diabetes and blood pressure problems that are most common in women.Under the District Medical and Health Department, under the program called Arogya Mahila Mahatma Kutumb, eye examinations, ear, nose, throat, blood pressure, diabetes, dental examinations, oral cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer examinations, examinations for pregnant women, TB examinations will be conducted with special medical experts, and women will be educated about sickle cell anemia, maternal and child care, reducing obesity by reducing cooking oils for a healthy lifestyle, menstrual hygiene, and nutrition.Special attention will be paid to pregnant women and lactating women with anemia, and necessary medicines and nutritional food will be provided to them through Anganwadi centers. The Collector called on women to take advantage of the camps.Doctors, staff and others participated in the camp.Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha visited Kasturba Gandhi Girl’s School in Marripalli, Vemulawada mandal. While toilets were being constructed in the school, the Collector inspected them and inquired about the details.
