Full freedom for the army said PM Modi

RSD-New Delhi news: Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that he has given full freedom to the armed forces in suppressing terrorism. He said that the army will decide the conduct of the operation, time, date and targets and that he has full faith in the capabilities of the Indian forces. The Prime Minister held a key meeting at his residence on 29.04.2025 evening on the developments, security and preparedness after the Pahalgam attack. The meeting lasted for about an hour and a half. Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Chief of Defense Staff Anil Chauhan, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and the three service chiefs participated in the meeting. They once again made it clear that India is determined to suppress terrorism. They said that they will give a befitting reply to the Pahalgam terror attack. The Cabinet Committee on Security, which takes policy decisions on national security issues, will hold a key meeting on 30.04.2025. The Prime Minister will chair it. Ahead of this crucial meeting, the three service chiefs and Ajit Doval met at Modi’s residence on 29.04.2025. Meanwhile, a high-level security meeting was held at the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) office on 29.04.2025 evening to review the security measures and measures being taken in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack. Home Secretary Govind Mohan chaired it. The meeting was attended by the Director Generals of the Central Armed Forces (CAPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Sahasra Seema Bal (SSB), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), National Security Guard (NSG), and Assam Rifles.
