RSD-Sircilla news: In view of the Gram Panchayat elections, 06 check posts have been set up on the district border at Tangalapalli (Zilella), Gambhiraopet (Peddamma), Mustabad (Venkatrav Palli), Vemulawada Rural (Fazulnagar), Boinpally (Narsingpur), Rudrangi (Manala Cross Road) and stringent measures have been taken to prevent illegal trafficking of liquor, money and other things and anti-social activities, the District SP said. On 27.11.2025, a surprise inspection was conducted at the check post set up at Narsingpur under the Boinpally Police Station limits and several instructions were given to the staff on duty at the check post. Speaking on this occasion, the SP said that check posts have been set up at the borders of the district to prevent the supply of any liquor and money in the wake of the implementation of the election code. He instructed the staff on duty at the check posts to be vigilant and thoroughly check every vehicle entering the district and to prevent the transportation of illegal liquor and money. Since the election code is in force, everyone must follow the election regulations, and if more than 50 thousand in cash is carried without proper evidence, it should be seized during checks, and those carrying money for emergency medical treatment, college fees, business, weddings and other needs should carry the money with proper documents. He said that it is best to keep appropriate evidence and certificates related to cash with them, and appealed to the people to cooperate in the vehicle inspections by following the election rules. The SP was accompanied by Vemulawada Rural CI Srinivas, SI Ramakanth and staff.
