Health awareness must be created, Sircilla In-charge Collector Garima Agarwal

RSD-Sircilla news: In-charge Collector Garima Agarwal instructed officials to create health awareness among the people of Sircilla district and conduct medical examinations. The In-charge Collector held a review meeting on the Medical and Health Department at the District Integrated Offices Complex on 03.01.2026. During the meeting, she thoroughly discussed deliveries in government hospitals, and cases of TB, leprosy, and other diseases. She inquired about the number of cases registered in the district and the type of medical services and medicines being provided to them. She also inquired about the availability of kits and medicines required for the diagnosis of TB and leprosy. She suggested that awareness should be created about the problems caused by the spread of TB and leprosy, and the necessary precautions to be taken. She ordered that diagnostic tests be conducted at the district government hospital, area hospital, primary health centers, and sub-centers. She stated that the NCD (Non-Communicable Diseases) screening process in the district should be completed on time and treatment provided to those who need it, and that cancer screenings should be conducted and subsequent treatment provided.
