RSD-Sircilla news: The District SP Mahesh B. Gite advised the people of the district to celebrate Holi festival happily and in a safe environment without causing trouble to others. He said that the police department is taking security measures to prevent any untoward incidents during Holi celebrations. He said that youths who do rash driving on two-wheelers showing enthusiasm, doing stunts, riding three or four people on the same vehicle, and removing the silencer of bikes and driving are dangerous and strict action will be taken against them. He clarified that it is illegal for minors to drive vehicles and that cases will be registered against their parents and vehicle owners who are caught driving minors on Holi. He said that strict action will be taken against acts like forcibly applying colors on others, behaving indecently, harassing women, creating conflicts, and spreading false propaganda on social media. It is dangerous to go into ponds, canals, areas with high water flow, and deep water for bathing after Holi, and caution should be taken keeping in mind the accidents that have occurred in the past. The district SP appealed to all the people of the district to celebrate the Holi festival happily with mutual respect, respect for people of other religions, and religious harmony.
