RSD-Sircilla news: The District SP suggested that by ensuring that the criminals are punished in court cases and increasing the percentage of punishments, a positive change can be brought about in the society. On 04.03.2025, at the District Police Office, the PPs and court constables who worked hard to punish the accused in court cases were presented with certificates of appreciation and incentives. Speaking on the occasion, the SP said that along with the police, public prosecutors play a key role in punishing the accused, and he suggested that efforts should be made to ensure that the criminals are punished in coordination with police officers, and the public prosecutors. He said that it is a good idea to work hard to ensure that the accused are punished in major cases and to increase the percentage of punishments. He suggested that everyone should work responsibly so that the criminals are punished in coordination with the police authorities. He suggested that POCSO and murder cases should be considered as priority and move forward. He said that technology has become crucial in these days and that scientific evidence should be submitted in all cases. He said that in the last two months, the accused have been sentenced to prison by the court in 22 cases. He said that in the ganja case related to Vemulawada Town Police Station, the accused have been sentenced to 05 years in prison by the court.
