RSD- Sircilla news: On this occasion, Sircilla Town Inspector Krishna said that based on information that liquor and other valuable items were being transported to bribe voters during the municipal elections, they went to Peddur in Sircilla.  They found the accused, Penta Ellayya, carrying liquor bottles worth Rs. 9,504/- to distribute to voters in the 8th ward.  He stated that Lingampally Lakshmi w/o Satyanarayana, who is contesting from the 8th ward on behalf of the BRS party, and her husband Lingampally Satyanarayana, had asked him to bring the liquor bottles to distribute to the voters, and he was transporting them on his motorcycle.  The liquor bottles were seized in the presence of witnesses, a case was registered against the accused, and an investigation has been initiated. He further stated that if there is any information about money, liquor, or other valuable items being transported to bribe voters during the municipal elections, the police station should be informed.  He warned that strict legal action would be taken against anyone who engages in activities that disrupt law and order, according to the election code of conduct.
