Believing the messages to be genuine, he was tricked into transferring \u20b91.94 crore to a bank account shared by the fraudsters, supposedly for a new project. Later realizing the fraud, the victim filed a complaint (NCRP No. 33707250029062). A case was registered under Cr. No. 1225\/2025 under sections 66C, 66D of the IT Act and 111(2)(b), 318(4), 319(2) BNS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud835\udde0\ud835\uddfc\ud835\uddf1\ud835\ude02\ud835\ude00 \ud835\udde2\ud835\uddfd\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddff\ud835\uddee\ud835\uddfb\ud835\uddf1\ud835\uddf6: The accused used WhatsApp to impersonate senior officials by setting the victim\u2019s MD\u2019s image as their display picture. They opened fake current bank accounts and sent fraudulent payment instructions.
