The district police stood by and provided financial assistance to the ill home guard Shivakumar while performing his duties in the district and voluntarily deposited (Rs. 55,000\/-) and gave it to the family members of Shivakumar on 18.08.2025 at the district police office by the hands of District SP Mahesh B. Gite IPS. The SP said that the police department stands by the families of the police in every way and it is commendable to come forward and provide financial assistance when fellow personnel are in danger.
