{"id":12962,"date":"2026-09-09T15:56:15","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T15:56:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rajannasircilladistrict.com\/?p=12962"},"modified":"2026-09-09T15:56:26","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T15:56:26","slug":"sangareddy-dieo-caught-red-handed-by-acb-while-taking-bribe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rajannasircilladistrict.com\/?p=12962","title":{"rendered":"SANGAREDDY DIEO CAUGHT RED HANDED BY ACB WHILE TAKING BRIBE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"517\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/rajannasircilladistrict.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/1000954367.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12963\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rajannasircilladistrict.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/1000954367.jpg 517w, https:\/\/rajannasircilladistrict.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/1000954367-227x300.jpg 227w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 517px) 100vw, 517px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>RSD_Sangareddy:The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has trapped the District Intermediate Education Officer (DIEO) of Sangareddy district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 09.09.2026 at about 1:20 PM, the Accused Officer Sri Ramavath Govind Ram, DIEO, Sangareddy District, was caught red handed at his office while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. 20,000 from a complainant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bribe was demanded for doing an official favour i.e. &#8220;for conducting an inspection and submitting a report for extension of provisional affiliation for renewal of complainant&#8217;s Vikas Vocational Junior College, Sangareddy&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to ACB, the officer had initially demanded Rs. 50,000 and had already accepted Rs. 30,000 as bribe earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tainted bribe amount of Rs. 20,000 was recovered from the possession of the AO. The AO performed his public duty improperly and dishonestly to obtain undue advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The officer is being arrested and will be produced before the Hon&#8217;ble II Addl. Spl. Judge for Trial of SPE &amp; ACB Cases Court, at Hyderabad. The case is under investigation.
