Gitte has urged the public to be aware of the PM RAHAT (PM Road Accident Health And Treatment) scheme being implemented by the Central Government to provide timely medical treatment to road accident victims and save their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He stated that medical services under this scheme are available in a total of <em>07 hospitals<\/em> within the district limits. Eligible victims can avail cashless medical treatment up to a maximum of Rs. 1.5 lakh for up to seven days<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The SP emphasised that providing medical assistance to victims as soon as possible after a road accident is crucial. He appealed to the public to shift the injured to the nearest hospital and cooperate in ensuring emergency medical care. Timely treatment can prevent life-threatening situations, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He called upon people to come forward to help road accident victims and not neglect the injured during accidents. In emergency situations, the public should call 112 for police assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly, SP Mahesh B.
