Did you know that this app was launched by Zoho Corporation in 2021. But it is currently getting good reception. Zoho has designed it to be useful for personal tasks such as sending text messages, photos, videos, documents, making voice/video calls, creating stories, channels, etc. as well as professional use. It also has facilities like one-to-one, group chats, voice notes, and broadcast channels. The messaging app ‘Arattai’ brought by the indigenous platform Zoho provides cloud-based services. Recently, it has been gaining a lot of downloads and is gaining a lot of craze among the youth. In just three days, daily signups have increased from 3,000 to 3.5 lakh. Craze as a native app

Currently, Arattai is gaining craze as a native app. As of now, Arattai app has end-to-end encryption only for calls. There is no end-to-end encryption facility for messages. This means that your messages can also be seen by third parties. This is a concern for users who give high priority to privacy. It remains to be seen whether the administrators will bring end-to-end encryption in the future. In fact, the company has decided to release this app in large numbers in November with additional features. But as the number of users increased exponentially within the month, the Zoho team is reportedly focusing on expanding the infrastructure. Some users are reporting issues like OTP delays, contact sync issues, and call failures. Zoho has acknowledged this. It has clearly stated that it will resolve it soon. Many are expressing the opinion that this deficiency needs to be filled in order to compete with a global giant like WhatsApp. Experts say that if updates and new features are added, it can definitely become an alternative to WhatsApp. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav recently said that he is switching to Zoho in response to Prime Minister Modi’s call to use domestic products and services. He said that he has made the latest cabinet presentation with Zoho instead of Microsoft PowerPoint. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also called for the use of ‘Arattai’ in a similar manner, and downloads have increased significantly. With this, Arattai has become number-1 in the networking category on Android and Apple App Store.
