Inter-state temple thief gang has been arrested

RSD- Sircilla news: SP said that, a man named Shivratri Sampath of Husnabad, Vemulawada rural mandal, lives by working as a well-filler and earthenman. He decided to earn money by stealing anyway, and in the month of May 2024, he broke the doors of the Peddamma temple in Chippalapalli village of Mustabad mandal and took away the gold mangalsutra and silver rings of deity. The next day he steals two sheep from a sheep shed on the outskirts of Pedda Lingapur village in Illantakunta mandal. Allipu Parusuram, who had worked with Sampath in the past, was introduced in Sircilla and Sampath asked Parusuram to steal money and earn money. Durgamma Temple at Chandurthi Dam, Bike at Malapalli Village, Husnabad Mandal, Peddamma Temple at Thippayapalli Village, Kodimyala Mandal, Peddamma Temple at Jaggaraupalli, Boinpally Mandal, Peddamma Temple at Vattemla Village, Vemulawada Rural Mandal, Peddamma Temple at Textile Park, Ellamma Temple at Illantakunta Vantadupula Village, Boinpally Mandal at Mallapur Sitarama Anjaneya Swamy Temple, Peddamma Temple in Vemulawada Chekkapally, Ram Temple on Odyaram Gutta on Karimnagar Road, Ellamma Temple in Algunur, Ellamma Temple in Vattemla Village, Lakshminarasimhaswamy Temple in Nalgonda,  and committed thefts. The SP said that a special team was formed with Sircilla DSP, Rural C.I Mogili and S.I Srikanth staff members and the investigation was carried out on 15.07.2024 morning at Potthur Bridge, iron rod, bike, mobile phones, 8 tola gold ornaments and 2 tola silver ornaments were seized and the two accused were sent to remand.

12 cases have been registered in Rajannasircilla district, 02 cases in Jagityala district, 02 cases in Karimnagar and 01 cases in Siddipet district. The SP congratulated Rural CI Mogili, SI Srikanth, Head Constable Satyanarayana, Constables Madhu and Chandrasekhar for catching the inter-state thieves who were committing a series of thefts in temples in different districts. DSP Chandrasekhar Reddy, CI Mogili and SI Srikanth staff participated in this meeting.
