RSD_KTR challenges Revanth Reddy to make those 10 MLAs resign

RSD- Sircilla news: BRS Working President Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) openly challenged Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who claims that the people are with Congress in the Panchayat elections, to immediately make the 10 MLAs who illegally joined from BRS resign and come to the elections if he has the courage and morality. He said that then it will be decided which side the people are on, and challenged Revanth to accept his challenge if he has the guts. He addressed a felicitation meeting of newly elected BRS Sarpanches in Sircilla on 19.12.2025. On this occasion, KTR strongly criticized the undemocratic policies of the Congress government and the double standards of the defecting MLAs in his own style. KTR criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, saying he is an expert in changing his words. “Yesterday, at the Hyderabad press conference, Revanth Reddy initially boasted that the Congress had won 66 percent of the vote, claiming it was a blessing from the people for the government. But, exactly five minutes later, he changed his tune, saying these were elections based on local issues and had nothing to do with the government. Chief Minister, if you truly have 66 percent public support, accept my challenge. Make those ten MLAs, whom you snatched from our party to resign. Then the people themselves will tell us what percentage of support each party has, what their true standing is, and whose strength is greater. It will all be decided in the public arena”. KTR expressed strong anger over the behavior of the defector MLAs. He said it was shameful that people like Kadiyam Srihari and Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, who had previously served as ministers and speakers, were behaving in such a degraded manner for positions that are like mere ‘blades of grass’. “These gentlemen, who boasted in front of microphones that they had joined the Congress and that Rahul Gandhi had draped a shawl around them, are now telling blatant lies during the Speaker’s inquiry, claiming they are still in the BRS. Their lives have become completely ruined as they cling to power like bats hanging upside down,” he fumed. He expressed anguish that even the Speaker was being forced to disregard evidence and tell lies due to pressure from the Chief Minister. He reiterated that they are telling blatant lies by claiming to have joined the Congress outside, but then going before the Speaker and saying they are still in the BRS. He expressed his anguish, stating that even the Speaker, who should have acted as an impartial umpire in the situation, was forced into a position where he had no choice but to lie, disregarding the evidence presented, and instead following the Chief Minister’s instructions. KTR lashed out, saying that Revanth Reddy had abducted the BRS MLAs and the lives of those 10 MLAs were now completely ruined. KTR commented that the people had taught the Congress a harsh lesson in these panchayat elections for deceiving farmers, women, and BCs (Backward Classes). He clarified that despite the Congress’s numerous conspiracies using the administrative machinery and the police, the people stood firmly with the pink flag (BRS). “The fact that BRS won in 80 out of 117 panchayats in Sircilla is proof of this. Even though the Chief Minister and ministers toured the districts and issued threats, the people still want KCR’s leadership. The people have once again made it clear that KCR’s leadership is the only solution for the betterment and development of the villages,” KTR confidently stated. KTR assured the party workers that they need not fear any threats or phone calls. “Those who won and those who lost should work together. Next year, we will conduct new membership drives and form village, mandal, and district committees. We will strengthen the party further by forming committees with sharp, young people, combining the experience of the old generation with new blood,” he announced. He called upon them to continue this momentum in the upcoming Zilla Parishad and Mandal Parishad elections as well.
