RSD-Agarharam news: Jakkula Santosh, the main accused in the murder case of former People’s War Group commander Ballepu Narasaiah @ Siddayiah @ Bapireddy, has been arrested and remanded under the Vemulawada town police station limits of Rajanna Siricilla district, Vemulawada in-charge DSP Nagendrachari said. Speaking on this occasion, the DSP in charge said, “A person named Ballepu Narsayya @Siddayya@Bapireddy, a resident of Gandi Lachchapet village in Tangalapalli mandal of Rajanna Siricilla district, used to work as a squad commander in the People’s War Group. A case was registered at the Yellareddypet police station at that time in 1999, when Narsayya and his squad members shot Anjaiah of Veernapally, mistaking him for a police informer. Ajamyya’s son Jakkula Santosh grew suspicious of the person who killed his father over this incident. Recently, after seeing an interview given by Ballepu Narsayya to a YouTube channel, Santosh grew suspicious and introduced Ballepu Narsayya as a reporter. He had been telling Ballepu Narsayya that he would interview him for the last three months and had told Ballepu Narsayya to come to Agraharam village for an interview. Narsayya arrived on November 27th 2025. When the two reached Agraharam village in the afternoon, as per the pre-prepared plan, Santosh attacked the deceased with stones while he was alone in the area and killed him on the spot. A case was registered at Vemulawada Town Police Station and an investigation was conducted using modern technology. On 29.11.2025, the accused Jakkula Santosh was arrested and sent to remand, said DSP Nagendrachari in-charge. DSP Nagendrachari congratulated CI Veera Prasad, SI Rammohan and the police personnel for successfully solving the case.
