Main accused in Sirigiri Ramesh murder case, Chirram Ravi arrested

RSD- Vemulawada news: A dispute over land and flats led to a murder. While a person named Sirigiri Ramesh was brutally murdered, Chirram Ravi, the main accused in the case, has been arrested and remanded, said Additional Superintendent of Police Seshadri Reddy. Two other accused in the case, Eddandi Venkatesh and Ala Vansheela, have already been remanded. According to the details given by the police Chirram Ravi registered his land in Chandurthi to Sirigiri Ramesh for a petrol pump on an SC Corporation loan. However, Sirigiri Ramesh did not give the petrol station and did not register the land back to Ravi. In addition, he started trying to sell it to others, saying that this land was his. Moreover, Sirigiri Ramesh had double registered many flats and it seems that there was a dispute with Chirram Ravi, who was the intermediary in the purchase of those flats. Angered by these developments, Chirram Ravi decided to kill Ramesh to get his land. For this, Eddandi Venkatesh and Ala Vamshi planned to murder him. On 19-09-2025, at around 08:00 pm, he stopped the car near the Peddur sub-station and while Ala Vamshi was holding Sirigiri Ramesh’s legs tightly, Chirram Ravi was sitting in the back seat and holding him. At that time, Eddandi Venkatesh, who was in the driver’s seat, stabbed Ramesh in the throat and chest several times with a knife they had brought, brutally killing him. After the murder, after confirming that Sirigiri Ramesh was dead, Eddandi Venkatesh brought his body in a car and left the car at Ramesh’s Nandeeshwara Township Venture near Nandi Kaman in Vemulawada and fled. ASP Seshadri Reddy revealed that the main accused in this case, Chirram Ravi, was arrested on 11.10.2025 and sent to remand. Already, the accused in this case, Eddandi Venkatesh and Ala Vansheela, have been sent to remand in the past. Sub-Inspector Rammohan, staff Tirupati, Samiuddin, Rajkumar, Pasha and Gopal, who made special efforts in solving this case, were felicitated with a reward.
