Orphan’s body handed over to medical college

Mahabubabad news: A man named Murugan (45) died on 14.07.2024 in the Adarana old age home in Secunderabad Tanda Gram Panchayat of Mahabubabad district and the body was handed over to Mahabubabad Medical College. 10 people are taking shelter in Adarana Old Age Ashram. Among them, a man named Murugan has been living as a beggar at the Dornakal railway station for several years. Murugan, who has been living in the ashram since two years, died suddenly on 14.07.2024 morning. Telangana Eye, Organ and Body Donors Association and Lions Club of Mahabubabad led by Telangana Eye, Organ and Body Donors Association made arrangements to hand over the orphaned body to Mahabubabad Medical College. They visited Adarana Orphanage and took the dead body to the medical college by vehicle. Addressing the program, Parakala Ravinder Reddy, District President of the Donor Association, and Yella Muralidhar Reddy, Club Presidents, said that the students studying medicine in the medical college will need dead bodies for their research in the first year. They called upon everyone to come forward for community service like handing over corpses to medical colleges instead of being content with cremation and burial. Thanks to Lokesh Naik and Parvathi, founder presidents of the shelter for providing shelter to the orphans through Adarana Old Age Ashram. Lions Club Zone Chairman Ravula Ravichandar Reddy, Cabinet Secretary Anumala Venkateshwarlu, Club Secretary Chada Ashok Reddy, Senior Badyulu Male Kalinath and others participated in the program.
