Police Act Implemented in the District : SP Mahesh B. Gite
RSD- Sircilla news: The District SP stated that, keeping in view the maintenance of law and order, the Police Act of 1861 will be in effect throughout the district for a period of one month (from January 1st to 31st 2026). According to this, no demonstrations, road blockades, protests, rallies, public meetings, or gatherings should be held without the permission of the police authorities, and the use of DJ systems in violation of the rules is prohibited. He advised against undertaking any illegal activities that could disrupt peace and order or cause damage to government property. Therefore, he urged the people of the district to cooperate with the police in this matter and requested that people from all sections of society extend their cooperation to the police, who are constantly working to maintain law and order.
