Police crackdown on daily finance traders

RSD- District news: The SP of the district warned that on 30.08.2024, the police formed a team and conducted surprise checks on the daily finance businessmen who were running daily finance without permits in the district and causing trouble to the common people. SP said on this occasion that by supporting the financial needs of the people, by giving money to interest and collecting high interest from them, debtors are committing suicide because they cannot pay such high interest, and if they violate the law and oppress the common people with high interest rates, strict action will be taken. The SP requested that people should trust only those who conduct finance in legal ways with the permission of the government and that the details of those who run illegal finance business without any government permission can be given to him at the district police office and also to complain to the local police and dial 100. The details of those who gave the information should be kept confidential and a thorough investigation should be conducted. He said that the police department is working with the aim of getting justice to the victims.
