Police swiftly solved a murder case occurred within limits of Vemulawada
RSD_Vemulawada news: A case was registered and an investigation was launched into the incident where a person named Kolakani Satish died on January 13, 2026, while receiving treatment at Vemulawada Government Hospital due to severe injuries. The investigation revealed that the accused, acting on suspicions of an illicit relationship, had pre-planned and attacked Satish, resulting in his death.
The accused in this case are:
- Ummareddy Vishnu s/o Lachireddy, age 41 years, r/o Tippayapalli
- Ummareddy Krishna @ Raju
- Penta Sudarshan @ Suresh
- Myakala Venu
All of them consumed alcohol together and severely beat Satish with sticks and a plastic pipe, causing serious injuries. They then pretended it was an accident and shifted him to the hospital. Satish died while undergoing treatment. The accused absconded after the incident. Based on technical evidence, call data, and extensive investigation, their movements were traced, and they were taken into custody by police personnel near Sai Raksha Dhaba in Vemulawada on January 22, 2026. The accused have been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody. The case investigation is ongoing.
