Protest for disruption of municipal Bhagiratha drinking water supply

RSD-Sircilla news: Under the BJP, Sircilla town branch, a protest program was successfully conducted on 24.12.2025 at 9:30 AM in front of the Sircilla town Municipal Office, protesting the disruption of the municipal Bhagiratha drinking water supply. On this occasion, a large number of party leaders, activists, and public representatives participated and strongly condemned the negligence of the municipal authorities regarding the problems faced by the town people.

Strong remarks by Town President Dumala Srikanth on this occasion:

• The drinking water problem in Sircilla is becoming more severe day by day. This is not a natural problem, it is a direct result of the complete negligence of the rulers.
• We are clearly stating that a municipality that cannot provide even basic drinking water to the tax-paying public has no moral right to govern.
• The municipal Bhagiratha drinking water supply must be immediately restored without interruption, and sanitation programs must be conducted regularly and effectively in every ward of the town.
• This is not a political struggle this is a movement for the fundamental rights of the people.
• If the authorities do not wake up and take action now, the Bharatiya Janata Party, along with the people, will resort to even stronger movements.
• Until the problems of the people of Sircilla are resolved, the BJP will not sit silently the struggle will continue.

With the direct assurance from the Municipal Commissioner that all the problems would be resolved within two days, this protest was called off.
