RSD-Sircilla news: Liquor worth Rs. 19,800 and a two-wheeler were seized, and a case was registered against four individuals. Strict action will be taken against those involved in the illegal transportation of liquor and money during the municipal elections. Sircilla Town Inspector Krishna revealed the details and said that based on information that liquor and other valuable items were being transported to bribe voters during the municipal elections, the police went to Shivanagar in Sircilla.  They found the accused, Sandupatla Shravan Kumar, who works as a clerk at Vivek Textiles owned by Manche Srinivas. He was transporting liquor bottles worth Rs. 19,800 on his motorcycle to distribute to voters in Ward No. 30.  He confessed that he was taking the liquor bottles at the behest of Manche Renuka w/o Srinivas, who is contesting from Ward No. 30 on behalf of the BRS party, and her husband Manche Srinivas and Rayini Harikrishna.  The liquor bottles and the motorcycle were seized in the presence of witnesses, a case was registered against the accused, and an investigation has been initiated. He further stated that if anyone has information about money, liquor, or other valuable items being transported to bribe voters during the municipal elections, they should inform the police station. He warned that strict legal action would be taken against anyone who engages in activities that disrupt law and order, in accordance with the election code of conduct.
