On this auspicious occasion, an Abhishekam (ritual bath) was performed for Lord Sri Sita Rama Swamy in accordance with the Panchopanishad tradition. Subsequently, special prayers were offered to Lord Sri Ramachandra Swamy. Additionally, various rituals associated with the Yagashala (sacrificial hall) such as Punyavachanam, Yagashala Pravesham (entry into the sacrificial hall), Ankurarpana (sowing of seeds), and Agni Pratishtha (installation of the sacred fire) were performed. The Yagashala Pravesham and Agni Pratishtha rituals were conducted as part of the nine-night festivities (Navaratri) dedicated to Lord Sri Sita Chandra Rama Swamy. For this ceremony, the couple Sri Maringanti Vijayasarathi and Smt. Karna participated as the Kanyadatas (ritual donors), while Vedic scholars officiated as the Acharyas (priests).
