Telangana assembly sessions begin with Governor’s speech

RSD-Hyderabad news: The budget sessions of the Telangana Assembly began on 12.03.2025 morning. First, Governor Jishnu Dev Verma addressed both houses. He said that Telangana is a home of great culture. He said that the government is committed to the progress of all communities. He said that special steps have been taken for the development of farmers. He said that many people like Gaddar and Anjaiah have worked for the people. He said that Janani Jayaketanam has been made the state anthem. He said that the government is committed to social justice and development. He said that the statue of Telangana Thalli has been unveiled in the Secretariat. He said that this budget is for the realization of the dreams of the people of Telangana. The Governor revealed that the government continues to be people centered. He said that the goal is to support farmers and make them powerful. He said that Telangana is the state that grows rice in the country. They have waived off loans of farmers. This is a proof of sincerity towards farmers. He said that 23.35 lakh farmers have been benefited. The Governor said in his speech that farmers are being provided Rs. 12,000 per acre and that Rythu Nestham is being implemented.
