Telangana govt orders making Telugu mandatory in schools

RSD-Telangana news: Telugu mandatory in all schools including CBSE, ICSE, IB Implemented for class 9 from the academic year 2025-26. Implemented for class 10 from the academic year 2026-27. The Telangana government has taken a key decision. The government has decided to make Telugu language mandatory in schools. It has also ordered that Telugu should be mandatory in schools of other boards including CBSE, ICSE, IB. The education department has been instructed to ensure that it is implemented for class 9 from the academic year 2025-26. The order states that it should be implemented for class 10 from the academic year 2026-27. Guidelines have been issued to the education department to this effect.
