Telangana state formation day celebrations
RSD-Hyderabad news: Chief Secretary Shantikumari directed the officials on 25.05.2024 evening to make elaborate arrangements for Telangana state’s birth day celebrations. She said that on June 2nd 2024, the state formation day celebrations will be held at the Secunderabad Parade Grounds. Government Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari reviewed the state’s Emergence Day arrangements with senior officials on 25.05.2024 evening. The CS directed the officers on the arrangements to be made at the parade ground. She directed the police department to make necessary arrangements on the routes where celebrities travel, prepare a traffic route map while allocating parking spaces and take precautions to prevent disruption of traffic. The GHMC officials were instructed to arrange drinking water facilities and to decorate the road with colourful flags on both sides of the road along with sanitation works.
The culture department has been asked to organize performances with artists to create a festive atmosphere. She suggested to the power department to supply continuous three-phase electricity. All the departments should work in coordination and conduct the program in a grand manner. In this meeting, DGP Ravigupta, Special Chief Secretary Adhar Sinha, Principal Secretaries B Venkatesham, Jitender, Secretaries Christina Jongthu, along with officers. Hyderabad Metro Water Board MD Sudarshan Reddy, TSPDCL MD Musharraf, CDMA Divya, Special Commissioner of Information Civil Relations Department Hanumantha Rao and other officials participated in this meeting.
