Thousands of devotees flock to Velala Mallanna Jatara
RSD-Manchiryal District news: Thousands of devotees have been flocking to Velala Mallanna in Jaipur Mandal of Manchiryal district since 27.02.2025 to visit it.First, they take a bath in the Godavari river and then walk to the Velala Mallikarjuna Swamy temple located on a hilltop 5 km away.Since the first day of this three-day jatara is Shivaratri, a large number of devotees have flocked to visit Mallanna. The temple committee members and the police have made appropriate arrangements to ensure that the devotees do not face any problems.The police have started a command control room to prevent any untoward incidents.The RTC will run special buses from Manchiryal, Godavarikhani, Chennur, and Manthani.
