Vemulawada Police raid illegal soil excavation

RSD-Vemulawada news: Speaking on this occasion, the SP said that on information that soil was being excavated and transported from the Ramappa temple on the outskirts of Kodimunja village in Vemulawada town limits against the rules, the police conducted a joint raid under the leadership of Vemulawada town inspector Veera Prasad and district task force inspector Natesh. Three people were caught, 10 tippers, 02 Hitachi JCBs and a car were seized and taken to the station. After investigation, a case was registered against three people, 1. Uttam Karunakar, 2. Bhuvanagiri Mahesh and 3. Lamba Prashanth. He clarified that cases of illegal soil excavation and transportation against the rules are not uncommon, and that prior permission should be obtained from the concerned department for digging, storing and transporting soil anywhere in the district, otherwise action will be taken as per the law. He said that if soil is being moved, excavated or stored illegally anywhere in the district limits, information should be provided.
