RSD-Sircilla news: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, stated that if you vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party in the upcoming municipal elections, Goddess Lakshmi will come to your home, but if you mistakenly vote for the Congress party, Goddess Lakshmi will leave your home. Speaking at a preparatory meeting for the municipal elections in Sircilla district center on 12.01.2026, he said that he had brought Rs. 134 crore in central funds to Sircilla in two years, while the state government had not allocated even a single rupee. He questioned why people should vote for a government whose Chief Minister himself is saying that the government has no money. He said that if people vote for the BJP, which is in power at the center, he will take the responsibility of bringing funds from the central government. He alleged that the government, which has forgotten to implement its six guarantees, has started new dramas for the municipal elections. He said that the people are no longer in a position to believe their false and deceptive words. He urged the people to teach a fitting lesson to the Congress and BRS parties in the upcoming municipal elections and ensure that the saffron flag flies in Sircilla and Vemulawada municipalities.
