Make arrangements for conducting municipal elections
RSD- Sircilla news: Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, speaking to collectors via video conference from Hyderabad, directed them to complete all arrangements for conducting the municipal elections. He instructed them to take steps to train the officers participating in election duties and to ensure that sufficient officers and staff are available. He also stated that election materials should be procured. He explained that plans should be prepared for the formation of FST (Flying Squad Team) and SST (Static Surveillance Team) teams. He ordered that as soon as the notification for the elections is issued, measures should be taken to strictly implement the election code of conduct. He inquired about various aspects of the municipal election preparedness from the collectors district-wise. The collectors provided the Chief Secretary with details regarding the photo electoral rolls, draft polling stations, and other related matters, district-wise. During the video conference, In-charge Collector Garima Agrawal, speaking from the meeting hall of the Collectorate, directed that orders be issued regarding the appointment of officers to conduct the municipal elections effectively. She said that everyone should work in coordination to ensure that there are no shortcomings in the conduct of the elections. Additional Collector (Revenue) Gaddam Nagesh, DEO Vinod Kumar, Municipal Commissioners Khadeer Pasha and Anvesh, and election department officials Praveen, Ansar, Mirza Fasahat Ali Baig, and others participated in the video conference.
