RSD-Ellareddypet news: The ‘World Book Day’ celebrations at Zilla Parishad High School, Ellareddypeta, were conducted in an atmosphere filled with great enthusiasm. The school management organized this event with the primary objective of fostering a love for reading among students and highlighting the immense importance of books.

Key Highlights:

Book Exhibition: A grand book exhibition set up within the school premises captivated everyone’s attention. The display featured a diverse collection including storybooks, encyclopedias, biographies of prominent personalities, and scientific literature. Students browsed through the books that appealed to them with keen interest.

Group Reading Session: Under the slogan “Everyone Must Read – Everyone Must Grow,” students and teachers joined together to participate in a one-hour group reading session.

Speeches: Speaking on the occasion, the School Headmaster, Mr. Thirumala Manohara Chari, remarked, “In today’s digital age, cultivating a friendship with books enhances both concentration and creativity. Every student should dedicate at least one hour each day to reading.” This event was conducted under the guidance of the Telugu teachers: Mr. Ajmeera Bhikku Naik, Mr. Narra Anjan Reddy, and Mr. Nyatha Ramesh.

Competitions: To mark the occasion, essay writing and elocution competitions were organized for the students, and prizes were awarded to the winners. The school’s teaching staff, students, and parents participated in this event and made it a success.
