Distribution of earthen Ganesh
RSD- Sircilla news: On 06.09.2024, a program of distribution of earthen Ganesha idols was organized at the municipal office in collaboration with the Pollution Control Board by the municipal chairperson Kala Chakrapani. On this occasion, Municipal Chair Person Jindam Kala Chakrapani said that all the devotees who set up Ganesha idols should give importance to clay idols as much as possible as Plaster of Paris idols do not dissolve in water quickly and there is a risk of water pollution due to the chemical dyes used in making Ganesha idols and causing harm to the environment. Therefore, there is a need for everyone to protect our cultural traditions and also to protect the environment as much as possible, she said. Municipal Commissioner Mirza Fasahat Ali Baig said in this program that as part of Vinayaka Chavithi festival, which is organized with great devotion, all the devotees should contribute to the environmental protection by using the clay idols. Municipal Councilors Lingampalli Satyanarayana, Bolgam Nagaraju, Annaram Srinivas, Pattipaka Padma Shankar, Kalluri Raju, Guduri Bhaskar were present in this program.
