GHMC politics heats up in Telangana
RSD-Hyderabad news: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation politics has heated up. The countdown for the no-confidence motion against the mayor has begun. The Baldia Governing Council will complete four years. There is a possibility of a no-confidence motion against GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi and Deputy Mayor Mote Srilatha Shobhan Reddy at any moment after February 11th 2025. GHMC BJP corporators met with BJP Telangana president Kishan Reddy on 09.02.2025 BRS corporators will meet with former minister KTR in two days. BRS corporators are determined to pass no-confidence motion against Mayor Vijayalakshmi. Congress is on alert with the meetings of BJP and BRS corporators. Congress corporators will meet with the Mayor. There is a possibility of discussing the strategy to be followed on the no-confidence motion.
BRS is formulating strategies
Meanwhile, BRS is planning to move a no-confidence motion against Mayor Gadwala Vijayalakshmi. Vijayalakshmi, who won as a corporator on behalf of her party and took up the post of GHMC Mayor, is thinking about this in the context of her switching to Congress. Thus, it is formulating strategies to maintain a political hold on Greater Hyderabad. It is examining the possibilities in this regard. To this extent, it is known that a few days ago, BRS Working President KTR met with the party’s MLAs and MLCs from the greater Hyderabad area at the residence of MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav in Jubilee Hills.
Efforts to gather support
