A white paper on farmer loan waiver should be released
RSD- Sircilla news: Union Minister of State for Defense and BJP leader Bandi Sanjay said that the state government should release a white paper on farmer loan waiver. On 18.08.2024, hespoke to the media after participating in the Chandi Maha Yagam at Sri Shiva Bhakta Markandeya Temple in Sircilla district. He alleged that the Congress government had said that it would waive off loans of 40 thousand crores, but it said that it was allocating 26 thousand crores in the state budget, but only 16,000 crores had been waived off. He said that 70% farmers have not received loan waiver. He said that the farmers who believed the words of BRS which said that they would waive their debt of Rs. 1 lakh, were deceived by believing the words of the Congress too, that they would waive their debts of Rs. 2 lakh. He said that people are not in a position to believe what the Congress party is saying. Farmers are in trouble as people are noticing the facts. He demanded that the state government should release the white paper if it is sincere. Many BJP leaders participated in the meeting.
