RSD- Sircilla news: A person named Maripelli Rajaiah s/o Mallaiah age 64y from Telikunta, Julapelli mandal, was working as a gardener in a mango orchard in Vemulawada outskirts. Along with him, Anandha S/o Narsaiah, r/o Chintal Thana was also working as a gardener in the orchard. Rajaiah and Anandha used to quarrel over work. Rajaiah was the only one who did the gardening and cooking. Rajaiah used to scold Anandha in this regard. Anandha took the matter of Rajaiah’s scolding to heart and intended to kill Rajaiah. On the night of 29/04/2024, while Rajaiah was eating outside his room, Anandha hit Rajaiah on the head with an iron bar. In this case, on the complaint of Srinivas, son of Rajaiah, Vemulawada Town CI Veera Prasad registered a case and sent the accused to remand. Later, after investigating the case, CI Veera Prasad filed a charge sheet in the court. Court Constable Mahender and CMS Constable Naveen, under the supervision of Court Monitoring SI Ravindra Naidu, presented 16 witnesses in the court, while Public Prosecutor Penta Srinivas argued on behalf of the prosecution. After examining the antecedents of the case.District SP said that Sircilla Chief Justice Mrs. Neeraja had pronounced the verdict as it was found that the crime was proven and sentenced the accused Anandha to life imprisonment along with a fine of Rs. 1000/-. On this occasion, the SP said that no one who commits a crime in the society can escape punishment, and only punishment can bring about change in the society, and the police and prosecution will conduct a strategic legal investigation and judicial verification and ensure that the accused are punished. The District SP congratulated the investigating officer CI Veera Prasad, Public Prosecutor Penta Srinivas, Court Monitoring SI Ravindra Naidu, Court Constable Mahender, and CMS Constable Naveen for their efforts in getting the accused punished in the case.
