Arrest of 4 for attempted gang rape on a minor girl
RSD- Borbanda news: The Brief Facts of case are that Victim Girl aged about 17 Years accompanied with her Boy friend were coming towards her house located at indiranagar, Borabanda from Madhapur after attending their work. Returned on a rented auto while they were passing at Anna Nagar, Borabanda, a group of four Persons all are Cab Drivers intercepted and questioned them as to where they are coming and where they are going at that time and two of them forcibly entered in to their auto. One of them sat behind the driver while another sat beside girl. When the auto driver objected they threatened him and asked auto driver to drop near the house of victim. Upon which auto driver took them towards Indiranagar. On the way the person sitting behind misbehaved with victim girl by touching her body and other parts. When her boyfriend sitting other side objected he was also threatened with dire consequences and bet him with hands. The other two persons followed them on a bike. The auto driver dropped the victim girl on the road near her house and left the place without informing the incident to police or any one. The accused persons followed the victim girl and her boyfriend up to their house. While other the two accused came on a bike caught hold the boyfriend and demanded to give money to leave him. They forcefully entered into the house of victim along with her and threatened her parental uncle and aunty who are inside along with other neighbors with a knife. They forced the victim girl and tried to commit sexual assault on the victim. One of the neighbor called Dail 100 and informed to police. Borabanda Police immediately reached the spot and apprehended two of them while they were trying to escape. Later the remaining two members were also apprehended. A case is registered on the complaint of victim girl against the accused persons for the offences attempting a gang rape on a minor girl under life threat by using Knife, assaulting on a minor girl for sexual favour, wrongful obstruction and wrongful confinement under the relevant provisions of BNS and POCSO Act. During the course of investigation, the victim girl was sent to bharosa centre for recording her statement. The accused persons were produced before the III ADDL.CJM and were remanded to judicial custody. Police seized the Bikes, Knife which were used in the commission of offence from their possession along with three mobile phones. The case is under investigation.
