Awareness on the ban on ragging

RSD- Sircilla news: On 25.07.2025, an awareness seminar on the ban on ragging was organized at Sahasra Junior College in Sircilla town under the District Legal Services Authority, Rajanna Sircilla District. Speaking on the occasion, Senior Civil Judge – cum – Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority Radhika Jaiswal said that the awareness seminar on the ban on ragging was organized on the orders of the Honorable District Chief Judge and President of the District Legal Services Authority Smt. P. Neeraj, and said that ragging in educational institutions is a crime and that the affected students have suffered many grievances due to ragging and some of them are unable to continue their studies. Students, parents, teachers and the public are requested to immediately inform the concerned authorities and police if ragging takes place anywhere. In this awareness seminar, Lok Adalat members Chintoju Bhaskar, lawyers Aadepu Venu and Gentyala Bhumesh provided awareness on various issues. College Principal Srinivas, faculty and students participated.
