Case registered of cheating on home guard

RSD- Vemulawada news: In Vemulawada, a famous pilgrimage site, Rajannasircilla district, a female home guard Anusha Roote is like a separate entity. The home guard who was supposed to protect the devotees coming to Vemulawada opened the door to cheating with blackmail. She lured rich people into a trap because her husband was not in good health and started robbing them as much as she could. Finally, Dwaraka Shekhar, a retired employee of Vemulawada temple, fell into the trap of home guard. A female home guard borrowed Rs 3.5 lakh from Shekhar because her husband was not well. When she asked for the loan money, the woman blackmailed her, who had promised to pay it back in six months. She morphed Shekhar’s photo and made a wedding card and blackmailed him with false propaganda that he had married her, demanding Rs. 5 lakh. She threatened to publish the photos and the wedding card if he did not give her the money she asked for. Fearing that his reputation would be ruined if the photos were published, Shekhar lent Rs. 5 lakh to the female home guard. She demanded money whenever she felt the need and got involved in the business of punishing the person who gave it. Recently, she demanded and threatened to give another Rs. 2 lakh. Fed up, Shekhar filed a complaint at the Vemulawada police station. The police who immediately stepped in arrested the female home guard Anusha and sent her to remand. Vemulawada CI Veera Prasad said that a case was registered at that time after a person from Vemulawada was cheated of Rs. 40 lakhs. The CI asked anyone who was cheated by the blackmail of the female home guard to file a complaint at the police station.
