Cases on changing silencers for two-wheelers against rules
RSD- Sircilla news: The police conducted a special drive in the district to replace the company silencers of two-wheelers against the rules with loud silencers and identified 72 two-wheeler silencers and 03 police sirens installed against the rules and destroyed them with the help of a road roller at Ambedkar Crossroads in Sircilla town on 03.12.2024. Speaking on the occasion, the SP said that it is a crime to change the silencers of two-wheelers in violation of the regulations, and special attention has been paid to the two-wheelers that make excessive noise and do not take public health into account, with special attention being paid to noise pollution control. He especially warned two-wheeler riders to use only the silencers provided by the company, and warned that action will be taken against any motorist who changes the silencer and causes noise pollution. He said that if police sirens are installed on vehicles in the district in violation of the regulations, vehicles will be seized and strict action will be taken, and cases have been registered against about 10 vehicles in the district that were installed with police sirens in violation of the regulations and the vehicles have been seized. He said that information about those who change the silencers of vehicles and cause noise pollution should be given to Sircilla Traffic SI 8712656441 and Vemulawada Traffic SI 8712656440.
