RSD_Census completion in a timely manner says Sircilla District Collector Garima Agrawal

RSD-Sircilla news: Collector Garima Agrawal has ordered the completion of Census – 2027 in a timely manner. A training program for charge officers and additional charge officers on Census 2027 was launched on 11.03.2026 from the 11th to the 13th of March 2026 at the District Integrated Office Complex under the name of Census for Welfare. The Collector attended and spoke. She said that the government will conduct the census as per the Constitution of the Census Act 1948. It was revealed that the charge officers will be commissioners in municipalities, tehsildars in mandals, MPDOs as additional charge officers, and town planning officers in municipalities. She said that there will be about 700 to 800 people in the enumeration block. She suggested appointing teachers as enumerators and supervisors. She said that there will be one supervisor for each enumerator. The Collector said that there will be one technical assistant for each mandal.The first census to be conducted in the state using digital methods was revealed. She explained that it is the first self-enumeration. She said that in this method, people have the facility to register their details through the portal. She said that the Collector will be the District Chief Enumeration Officer, Additional Collector Gaddam Nagesh will be the District Additional Enumeration Officer, and Srinivasachari will be the District Enumeration Officer. She said that in the first phase, the house census will be conducted from May 11 to June 09,2026 and in the second phase, information will be collected from individuals in February 2027.She clarified that according to the Constitution, the census is a very crucial issue. She said that the census will be very useful for formulating government schemes and undertaking various welfare development programs. It was revealed that the government will have details of health, literacy, population, sex ratio, migration, employment and residential status etc. with the census. With this, it was clarified that these details are crucial for every government work. She directed the officials participating in the census to perform their assigned duties responsibly and to collect and record the details properly. She instructed them to prepare and implement a daily plan. Statistical Investigators Shreya and Sumitra from the Director of Census Operation attended and provided training. Additional Collector Gaddam Nagesh, District Planning Officer Srinivasachari, ZP CEO Vinod Kumar, District Panchayat Officer Sharifuddin, Municipal Commissioners, Tehsildars, MPDOs and others participated in the training.
