RSD-Shadnagar news: MLA Shankar Uncle, greetings to you. We are Lakkakula Ramya and Gayatri living in Mallikarjuna Colony, next to Shishu Mandir, the dog menace has increased in our colony. Even after complaining to the municipality, the staff is not listening. When we go to school and return home, the dogs follow us. It is very embarrassing for us to even play. Ramya studying in class 8 at Chaitanya School. Gayatri, her younger sister is studying in class 5 at Narayana School. They don’t know which dog will bite them before they get to school, the two children are pleading MLA Shankar. Recently, incidents of dogs biting more people have been seen frequently. In this context, a week ago, a five-year-old girl, Mini, was run over by dogs in a colony and bitten. The child is currently receiving treatment at a nearby hospital. Groups of dogs are seen in the respective colonies. Pedestrians are afraid to walk in the colony at night due to the dog’s unruly behavior. Dozens of dogs are ready to attack people. The municipality authorities should take action on this. As the authorities are hesitating to take action against dogs due to organizations like Blue Cross, people, especially children, want at least alternative measures to be taken. In a society that values animal lives, even children are questioning the rulers as to whether human lives are worth the least.
