RSD_Dammannapet students qualify for the national level in Agastya International Foundation Science Competitions

RSD-Dammannapet news: The school’s in-charge headmaster, Boyannagari Narayana, stated that students from Dammannapet ZPHS displayed exceptional talent and won several cash prizes in the zonal level science exhibition conducted online by the Agastya International Foundation on the 9th and 10th  of December 2025. A total of 512 teams participated in these competitions, and the best 44 innovations were selected for the second phase. It is noteworthy that 4 of these 44 innovations were created by students from the Dammannapet school. In the second phase of the competition, the innovation “Trolley for removing animal carcasses,” created by 8th -grade students Ponnala Niharika and Annam Ruthika, under the guidance of their teacher Sampath Kumar, won the first prize. They received a cash prize of Rs. 4,000/- and were selected for the national level. They will be showcasing their innovation at the national level science exhibition to be held in Bengaluru in the last week of January 2026. In the same competition, the innovation “Women’s Cooking Companion,” created by 7th-grade students P. Sai Kumar and P. Abhiram, received the first consolation prize and won a cash prize of Rs. 2,500/-. On this occasion, the school’s SMC chairman, the teaching staff, and the villagers wholeheartedly congratulated the winning students and their guiding teacher.
